Weekly reflection phase 1

 As part of the B Ed curriculum, we the second year trainees from KNM B. Ed College, Kanjiramkulam were sent to different schools to be engaged in the first phase internship program. We were allotted to practice in Govt. VHSS Povar. From English optional we were three in number.




WEEK 1 (3/10/2023 - 7/10/2023)


   The first phase of school internship programe commenced on 3rd October 2023. On the first day we met the headmistress and handed over the register and details. We met our concerned teacher and she gave necessary instructions regarding the classes and a separate room was allotted to us.




    I was assigned to take classes in standard VIII B. After having good interactions and friendly talks, I started with the lesson 'Song of  flower ' from the third unit. Textual activities and other discourses related to the lesson were also put forwarded to the students. I made the class more interesting by displaying charts and flash cards with attractive images related to the lesson and giving activity cards to the students. The use of teaching aids helped me a lot to convey the meaning to the students.




     It was a new experience for me . Teachers treated us like colleagues,   not us trainees. Children were also like friends. Enjoyed First week very much

"ഉം, നമ്മൾ പറയുന്നത്പോലെയല്ലല്ലോ കാര്യങ്ങൾ നടക്കുന്നെ..!!" ശരിയാ, ആഗ്രഹിച്ചതും സ്വപ്നം കണ്ടതും ഇതൊന്നുമല്ല.. അതിരുകളില്ലാത്ത ആഗ്രഹങ്ങളും കുന്നോളം പോന്ന സ്വപ്നങ്ങളും ആയിരുന്നു പണ്ടൊരിക്കൽ ജീവിതം. ഇന്നതിൽ ഏറെക്കുറെ ശരിയാണ്... കുന്നോളം സ്വപ്‌നങ്ങൾ... ആരുമറിയാതെ കഴുത്തിൽ താലി കെട്ടിയവനുവേണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള കാത്തിരിപ്പ്, ആ കാത്തിരുപ്പ് വെറുതെയാകുന്ന നിമിഷങ്ങളിൽ മനസ്സിൽ കാണുന്ന 'ഒരു കുന്നോളം പോന്ന സ്വപ്‌നങ്ങൾ..' പക്ഷേ, ആ സ്വപ്‌നങ്ങൾക്ക് അതിരുകളില്ല. അവിടെ ഞങ്ങൾ തനിച്ചാണ്, ഞാനും എന്റെ 'ഭർത്താവും' പിന്നെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ 'അവിഹിത'ത്തിൽ പിറന്ന കുഞ്ഞും. ഞങ്ങൾ തീർത്തും സന്തുഷ്ടരാണ് അപ്പോൾ... HER BIG DAY! Red is the colour of sensuality and purity, they say. So is my blood and soul. Blood stained hands, you all raise with pride. Spilling of mortality, staining divinity. Whetted knives that carved my senses, caged my eternity and tethered my fervour, With manoeuvred bribe. Pardon me, before my breath is outstripped, by the hand entrusted on my ‘big-day’!
