 FIFTH WEEK (13/11/2023 – 18/11/2023)             This week was done well and effectively. I completed the story The village blacksmith, the poem Song of the flower and took two concept attainment models (personification and adverb).           On 15/11/2023 , our English Sir , Merin came to observe us. It was more effective along with my new concerned teacher, Sreekumar Sir.I took the classes very well and I was inspired to give them more ICT classes.           We got opportunity to teach group song, deshabhakthi ganametc for Sub Jilla Kalolsavam. These experiences were much different. Feel myself proud.

 THIRD WEEK (31/10/2023 – 3/11/2023)           After our semester exam, we re-entered to teaching practice. I took the chapter “ The Nightingale and the Rose”. Both chapters were interesting. Nature and its today’s situation is well described in the poem ‘ First Showers’. I tried to make them aware not to hurt any trees and nature. I help my children to appreciate the poem and to find the figure of speech in it. I gave them sufficient notes also. I gave them sufficient space for discussing regarding the chapter. Then I started next chapter.  I used many charts, pictures, activity cards, reference texts for making my class more powerful. Kerala Piravi was on this week and there were celebrations regarding it. We participated in the assembly and other functions very enthusiastically. I was inspired to make my class more creative with models

 SEVENTH WEEK (27/11/2023 – 2/12/2023)           This week was also very busy . We were assigned to prepare students for GOTEC competitions. We prepared our children well and it is very proud to see their achievements.           This week I took the chapter Listen to the Mountain. It was a play and I made children to enact it in class. I made my complete effort to make the chapter more visible to the students. For that I used charts, pictures, PPTs, activity cards etc. I asked many questions for diagnosing their level. The chapter was made much clear through activities and notes also. I also informed about the achievement test that is designed to be conducted next week.           We trainees started doing a English wall under the leadership of Sreekumar sir was another captivating moment this week. This week made ourself changed as the part of that school.

 SECOND WEEK  (9/10/2023 – 12/10/2023)     This week was much challenging as our exam date was declared. However I took my classes well prepared. I completed the chapter “ First Showers”. Also I gave them many activities and notes regarding this chapter, so that they can face exams easily.     I tried to make my class more informative and interactive rather than my text. I used charts, activity cards, reference texts etc for it.      Teachers were very supportive. They assigned many other activities along with our teaching like noon feeding activity, English club activities etc.      I felt myself improving from the very first day. I was inspired to provide more discussion sections in school, so that children can improve their English.

 As part of the B Ed curriculum, we the second year trainees from KNM B. Ed College, Kanjiramkulam were sent to different schools to be engaged in the first phase internship program. We were allotted to practice in Govt. VHSS Povar. From English optional we were three in number. WEEK 1 (3/10/2023 - 7/10/2023)    The first phase of school internship programe commenced on 3rd October 2023. On the first day we met the headmistress and handed over the register and details. We met our concerned teacher and she gave necessary instructions regarding the classes and a separate room was allotted to us.     I was assigned to take classes in standard VIII B. After having good interactions and friendly talks, I started with the lesson 'Song of  flower ' from the third unit.
